Buncafe follows a simple submission guideline, to increase accessibility for artists submitting pieces, and readers themselves:

  1. All images must follow the formatting guide to ensure that their pieces won’t look off or weird on the page.
    1. Pictures and photos will be downscaled to fit the A5 + 10mm bleed format, or will be assembled in a masonry-style format. If you want your piece to fill both pages/a single page, you’ll have to follow the precise format in the formatting guide.
  2. Written forms and works of art don’t have to look pretty; I’ll have to format them either way. Don’t take the time to make your google doc look cute for the zine, it doesn’t benefit the zine in any way and makes it harder for me to assemble the zine!
  3. Comics, illustration, and photography/scans still fit under the guideline no.1!
  4. You can submit text documents and art either through google forms, or directly mail them either to [email protected] or [email protected]

FYI, you do not need to submit any new pieces or pieces made specifically for the zine; the pieces can be simply a collection of your art that you made in the past year that you like a lot, or pieces that you feel represent your art the best. Don’t rush yourself, and take care!
