<aside> 🐇 Hey! What is the Bunzine? What is Buncafe?
</aside>
To get an answer to the former, please read the page linked above! To answer the latter — Buncafe is a community of artists, focused on improving and supporting each other. As of writing this [3/15/24] we are in the process of building a site hub for us — so be on the lookout for further updates regarding this one!
<aside> 🐇 Okay, then how is Bunzine released?
</aside>
Bunzine is released annually on itch.io and gumroad pages of the organizator [asterryplace]. For now, the releases are planned to be digital-only, but each piece is still to have some basic guidelines in mind; that means that if anyone at some point wants to pursue a physical print path on their own, and print the zine on their own, it is possible without any loss of quality or any manual work required.
<aside> 🐇 Hold on, purchase? Where are the funds going? Are the artists getting paid?
</aside>
This used to have more info, but it has been brought to my attention that it was worded extremely poorly and conveyed info in a similarly poor fashion. I’m going to re-word this section, so please be patient!
All of the specifics are kept here in a database (right over at the Buncafe Wiki ), so you can see how much we’ve earned and how much we’ve spent. For precise details on money and where it goes, refer to the Buncafe-specific wiki instead.
IMPORTANT: After a new Bunzine is released, the old one continues to be distributed - for free - and kept in the archives.
